Wool

While being extremely environmentally friendly conservationists, our beautiful sheep also produce a lot of wool. We shear our animals once or twice a year, carefully classify the wool and then ship it to a spinning mill on mainland Finland where it is washed, carded and spun into yarn.

Every year we send off thousands of sheepskins and in return receive several hundred kilograms of yarn and wool. In other words, at our farm you will only find local wool from organic sheep in colours and mixed shades completely unique to this specific farm. Furthermore, you can find yarn of varying degrees of thickness in the sheep’s own natural colours.
